Hangover Shoot 28th December
An unusually warm and sunny morning made for very pleasant shooting conditions for the ten members who came out to Brocks Copse for the Shoot.  Two rounds then mince pies and mulled wine and home by mid afternoon!

Brocks Shoot 15th November
A very blustery but otherwise dry morning didn't put six hardy members off shooting at Brocks Copse. Thank you to Gary C and Gary F for planning the course and to those that helped put the targets out.  One round of normal shooting, early lunch then a bowhunter round.  Well done to Gary for his well deserved first place.

Club Championship 4th October
A bright autumn day brought out fourteen of our members to shoot our annual championship shoot.  As usual, we hadn't made things easy for ourselves - setting out some of the most challenging shots of the year including a great long range steep downhill shot plus some very tricky kneeling shots.  We welcomed two new members John J & Dee who are experienced compound archers but brand new to the world of traditional bows.  Congratulations to all medal and trophy winners and thanks as always to all those that helped plan, set up and take down the targets.

Open Shoot 27th & 28th June
Our visitors brought the sunshine with them this year.  Saturday morning was a normal scoring round of 18 target stations, many with multiple targets.  Saturday afternoon was a one shot per target bowhunter round, visiting archers competing for the Brian Quaintmere Memorial Trophy for the most kills scored.  Sunday morning was another round of normal scoring, this time from a slightly different shooting position.  Medals awarded by bowclass to our visitors and Denis Alston was once again triumphant in scoring the most kills from the Bowhunter round.  Congratulations to all medal winners and huge thanks to all those that had a hand in planning, setting up, helping out and clearing away.

Bowhunter Trophy Shoot 29th March
An extremely blustery day may have hampered the flight of the arrows, but rain held off for the duration.  Thirteen archers, including three juniors completed the bowhunter course (one arrow per target) and the worthy winner, for the second year running was Martin.  Huge thanks to everyone that helped plan and set out the course so efficiently, it was broken down pretty quickly too!

Brocks Trophy Shoot 8th March
Matt and friends set a wickedly challenging course which 17 members enjoyed on a slightly overcast but reasonably warm day.  15 shots, several of which were multi target shots in the morning with normal scoring followed by a bowhunter style round in the afternoon.  Thank you to everyone who helped plan, set up and of course
clear down afterwards and well done to Skelly as the inaugural winner of the Brocks Trophy.  20150308_145804
